project 1

My name is Scott Woodward. I was born December, 1981 in Utica NY. I attended New Hartford high school, and graduated in 2000. I started college at Rochester Institute of Technology that fall. I was accepted into the film and animation program there, and studied for two years before deciding the program wasn’t for me. I realized instead of writing scripts, I was busy sketching, so, I switched majors to industrial design. I graduated in May of 2006 with a BFA, and a minor in psychology. In May, 2007, my wife, Robyn, and I married. In May of 2008, we moved into our first house with our 3 cats, after an extraordinarily long search.

In my spare time, I enjoy painting, playing guitar, working on cars, upgrading the house, and watching movies. I also enjoy hiking with Robyn and our greyhound, Novi.

I had grown up around muscle cars, but stumbled into the import scene back in 2000 with the purchase of my first Honda CRX Si. I purchased my second ‘89 CRX in 2002. It was parked in the fall of 2005 for some repairs, which turned into a full rebuild. It now has a 12.5:1 compression single-cam VTEC engine with a custom geared JDM ZC transmission with an LSD. It rides on Ground Control springs (350#F/400#R) with KYB AGX shocks, and is stopped by ‘90 Integra disk brakes. It is connected to the road by 14” Mugen CF-48 wheels wrapped with Kuhmo V700 rubber. It will have a custom upholstered interior, with a mildly customized exterior.
